McKay Coppins, staff writer for The Atlantic, talks with Alicia Menendez about the increasingly radical Trump rally prayers that cast the 2024 election as a battle between good and demonic evil with Donald Trump at the center with a campaign blessed by God, setting up a crisis of faith if Trump doesn't win.

If your religious views are threatened by the results of an election then your faith wasn't all that strong to begin with.

Just because you yell loudly does not mean your message is Christian.

Comparing Trump to Jesus is crazy. These guys aren't true Christians.

To essentially worship something as abominable as trump is nothing short of blasphemous.

I was raised Catholic and have many friends and relatives that are followers of many different religions and diverse beliefs, but am unfamiliar with the religion that endorses adulterers, convicted rapists and incessant liars.

Idolatry, adultery, false witness from a man who claims to be like Christ by admits he is not a Christian. God knows the truth.

That is too funny: pastors warning Trump supporters of demonic forces - while they are looking right at one. They are not very observant.

Never gonna understand how anyone see Trump as a religious man

These "pastors" are often as qualified to lead a congregation as Himmler would have been to preach from the Torah.

Funny how these guys act like they are the most moral group of people in America, and they see themselves as good.

The only difference between a religion and a cult is how popular it is.

A guy who cheats on his wife, separates children from their parents, puts them in cages, cheats people in business, and has nothing but animosity and hatred towards people who disagree with him. Yeah, that's how Jesus teaches us to behave.

Once again ladies and gentlemen, there's no such thing as an intelligent Trump worshipper.

He literally admitted that he’s not a Christian… right to their evangelical faces.

Seeing people compare Trump to Christ just makes me sick. It’s also just really disrespectful to what He really stands for.

We're truly in end times when these "Christians" have forgotten the first commandment and put all their trust in a man.
