Stumbled across this place by accident in my first playthrough. I had no companion at the time and, I can tell you, my boostpack got a workout. I would say that there are places you can boost to that allow you some respite and where a decent sniper rifle will be your friend but I don't think I was on the hardest difficulty at the time so maybe the enemy AI was a little more forgiving.

Ive done this encounter twice in two different places- a moon and a planet… listed as abandoned mining platform and abandoned mining rig; got a couple epic and legendary each place.

I saw one of these off in the distance and said to myself: “Hmmm, think I’ll check that place out”. After seeing the first creature and listening to that slate by one of the bodies I was like ‘holy shyt!’. I was actually pretty creeped out. Used my Starborn power time lapse II to manage the creepiness. Now I look for them anytime I land on a moon. Much cooler than the Red Mile

I've come across this and those little buggers can fly and follow you. They're really sneaky, dropping in on you from above out of nowhere... 😱

Thanks found it on my first try. Added bonus was 2 ships landed. The first one took off cuz I killed all the crew. 2nd one I left one to live and got Ecliptic Claymore 3.

This is 1 of the scariest Ive encountered...i ALWAYS go in with Massive amounts of explosives of all kinds...😅😂
Oh before i forget the first 1 i encounter was on Titan in sol system
