Easy Goan Green Chicken Curry (Without Coconut)

The Green Chicken Curry— a Goan classic that is delicious, aromatic and appealing! The very sound of its name makes one's mouth water with the remembrance of the last time it was relished :) The Green Curry is flavorful, alive with the freshness of Coriander and the hint of Mint (the latter added at the very end), and is also an easy-to-do recipe. The Curry Paste can be used as a base for other meats/fish/vegetables.
*I usually also add potatoes to this curry but skipped it for this video

1 US Cup= 240 ml
Ingredients:
400 grams Chicken, cleaned and cut (use cuts of choice)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
For the Green Curry Paste:
6 Cloves
8 Black Peppercorns
1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1" piece of Cinnamon
1" Ginger
6 Garlic cloves
4-6 Green Chilies (adjust as per tolerance)
1 Cup Fresh Coriander leaves (use only the leafy portion, and not the stalk for a vibrant green colour)
Water, as required
Oil, for cooking
2 medium-sized Onions, finely chopped
1 medium-sized Tomato, finely chopped
Salt, as required
1 teaspoon Sugar
Chopped Coriander, for garnish
Chopped Mint leaves, for garnish
