Lucy Charles-Barclay, T100 series leader and reigning Ironman World Champion, is considered one of the greats of the sport. However, despite leading the majority of every 100k race she's ever competed in, due to her iconic lead from the front style, she is yet to land the win at the ultimate distance.
With a strategic rest during the San Francisco T100, will she make the most of being home favourite in London to claim victory?
No stranger to success in London, two-time Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee claimed victory on this very streets at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Despite all his accolades at short course racing, Alistair still hasn't shown his full potential over the longer distances.
