99-04 Ford Mustang GT - Borla S-Type Catback Exhaust

Take a listen to the new Borla S-Type catback on the New Edge Mustang GT (Part #140067)! With all of these great styling upgrades the car needed to sound better than it did from the factory. The Borla S-Type really wakes up this GT giving it a much more aggressive yet tame exhaust note. Anyone who's heard the variations of exhaust offered by Borla knows that the ATAK is the louder kit and the S-Type is the more "Touring" style exhaust. This car does still have the OE exhaust manifolds and mid-pipe. After getting this catback installed on this Mustang we can confirm that the S-Type axle back gives the car an aggressive sound while not being overbearing. Inside the cabin of this car the exhaust also sounds great and further enhances the driving experience.

I had the S type aka Borla Stingers in my 03 Sonic blue GT convertible. The sound is extremely deep, deeper than imaged but didn’t like it after 6 months. Took it out and got myself Borla Atak. Stock midpipe and it’s the perfect loudness!
