Why isn't there a HUD accessory for microscopes? One tiny OLED display, an MCU, some simple drag/drool config software for PCs, and a series of input boards e.g., DMM, VTVM, o-scope, FLIR, etc... It wouldn't be hard to do if the prisms and mirror were farmed out to Shenzhen.

Imagine the time savings. I wish I could afford a nice Amscope. That's what I'd do with it.
