With the new M2 MacBook Air, Apple has refreshed its most influential MacBook ever. Apart from the performance boost, it brings a bunch of other upgrades too. Especially in terms of design.
It ditches the iconic wedge aesthetics in favour of the symmetrical squared-off look like the 14 and 16” Pros. There’s now a notch for the upgraded camera, a bigger, brighter display, the speaker system has been redesigned, and MagSafe charging is back on Air as well.

I am using macbook m2 air from last 2 weeks .. I am a pro dj & one event can strech from 4 to 5 hours of continuous software load… and I must say it stays cold all the time even in intensive use … battery life is phenomenal… and if someone is coming from intel mac … they getting into whole new different world of efficiency! I have 8GB / 512 & I got store plus student discount which kept it next to m1 air … I love this machine

I have the M1 pro macbook pro 14 inch, just got it a couple of days ago, darn, arm is faaast! I come from the massesoic period with my 2012 macbook pro! This machine was ok, especially the display and the ports, but it was hot, i had to set a custom fan curve, otherwise it would burn a hole in your pants! These new arm machines stay cold to the touch! The thing that is making this laptop feel warm, are your legs from using it on your lap, that's it! Magsafe 3 is finally here, an sd card slot, and i got some usb-c wires and a dongle with everything i need in 1 small package, and i can charge my macbook pro 2 ways, which is insane! The magsafe cord is just a usb-c plug on the other end so finally, whenever the cable breaks, i can just replace the cable instead of the entire power brick which often justs works fine and gets discarted as ewaste. I love this macbook pro, i use windows as well, i wasn't that busy on my intel machine as i used to, but now i am so happy i am in arm land now. I am ready for this future, lets see what these macs can do, i can't wait honestly :p

I would not buy a MBA. Purchased M1 MBA and without a fan it gets real hot just running a few Chrome tabs and Parallels. Returned that and got me a MBP instead

Regarding additional displays, both M1 and M2 Air have a workaround via not so expensive nor cheap adapter and software trick. About M2 temperature - known issue which some users fixed with additional thermal pads as both M1 and M2 Air don't have active cooling, meaning, lack of processor fan.

I moved into Apple’s echo system in 2011 with a MacBook Pro 14, and it’s still my current computer no joke. It’s time for me to get a new portable MacBook. I’ve ordered a M2 Air starlight and waiting for it patiently. Loved your video.
