I believe he is talking to his burdens..loves them in a sense bc the fear and anxiety has ironically been a source of comfort over the years, but he’s realizing he finally needs to let them go bc they are ultimately keeping him from happiness…no matter how scary that may be. This song is probably his greatest achievement. It wouldn't exist if Nate didn't choose to let go. It's a song that encompasses all of his struggles since Mansion.

Nf is a master at taking you on a emotional journey the arrangement of this track. Also his voice sounds SO GOOD his singing voice has improved. Hits just perfect.
