American baseball player turned evangelist, Billy Sunday, once stated, "If you have no joy in your religion, there's a leak in your Christianity somewhere!" That is not to say that life is easy, Jesus has been at pains to give his disciples the whole truth, good and bad. Jesus predicts his disciples' deep sorrow but also assures them that their sadness will be eclipsed by even greater joy. What a great hope!
