A group of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs in computer science, ML, cryptocommerce, and related fields who leverage those technologies to improve voluntary cooperation across humans, and ultimately AIs.

As artificial intelligence systems become more capable and ubiquitous, there are concerns about how to ensure these systems are aligned with human values and priorities. Centralized control of advanced AI risks consolidating power and amplifying algorithmic biases. Decentralized governance models provide an alternative, distributing decision making across diverse stakeholders.

What happens if we blend Meritocracy + Democracy? 🤷 Everyone gets a vote. Individuals with verifiable merit can earn extra votes.

This could be onchain data like transaction history or an NFT proving they supported a specific project or cause. Or completed a specific training, etc.

Maybe social proofs like referrals or delegation could be included, taking the square or 3rd root of delegated votes to lesson the tyranny of the masses

Very interesting and thought-provoking presentation. Some of it went over my head, but the boat analogy helped. 🛥 🚤 🛶 👍
