super short video for today. definitely something different!! i just decided to upload some progress i have for a really short animatic from a funny mbmbam clip. i can't remember what episode it's from anymore though....

also i apologize for the audio quality!

(p.s. i've been thinking about making a good omens animatic but it takes sooo long and i've barely been getting the hang of drawing the characters. but who knows! maybe in the future!)

Also, I had the same issue of not telling Justin and Travis apart in the beginning of my MBMBaM crucible. In case anyone stumbled on to this and is still having the issue, I found that I had to depend on their speaking patterns more than their voices to figure it out at first. If there's a great deal of filler words (um, uh) or if the speaker interrupts themselves by laughing, that's Justin. If the speaker is cutting in on someone else and speaks with a baffling level of confidence, you've got yourself a Travis.

Justin talks with his throat only

I remember having trouble with Justin/Travis early on when listening, but I pretty much always knew which one was Griffin. Munch Squad went a big way in helping me identify Justin consistently though

my guide is, if you think “hm is that justin or travis” then it’s definitely justin, because i confuse justin for travis but i NEVER confuse travis for justin

The universal MBMBAM experience is not being able to tell Justin and Travis apart for a while and then thinking back on that and wondering how the fuck because they sound SO different

I can't believe I'm not the only one. I got introduced to them thru TIl Death Do Us Blart and listening thru the first like 3 episodes I literally thought Justin and Travis were the same person.

Travis has a slight lisp in a way that makes his voice really unique, I don't actually understand how anyone could mix them up?

Easy rule of thumb:
If one of them starts talking on his own volition, it's Justin
If one of them interrupts the other and starts talking over them, it's Travis

As a fan I had this same problem. Travis sounds more stuffed up & higher piched. Justin sounds like his voice is being sent through just a little bit of a chubby (innuendo free) filter & he's a bit permastoned.
