China's Long March 2D launches Yunhai-1 03 satellite, rocket sheds tiles

A Chinese Long March 2D launched the Yunhai-1 03 satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Sept. 21, 2022. The satellite will be used for “detecting the atmospheric, marine and space environments, disaster prevention” and more, according to China Central Television (CCTV).

The rocket sheds insulation tiles during launch, a normal occurrence.

Why do we keep putting tiles on rockets. Wasn't the loss of astronauts on the shuttle on reentry enough? Figure something else out.

Interesting... They don't cover-up the Inter-Stage?
or is that a gap between the LOX & Fuel tank?

Is this not supposed to happen? Probably not, but you would suppose the Chinese could have corrected this by now. I hope they've built their space station and nuclear reactors with better engineering.
