Hey, hope afte a year I can get a reply from you.... or anybody who can help....
Im working on the innovative product, I am at the designing stage, and also trying to get perfect prototype.... the thing is that I am afraid to start kickstarter or indiegogo without patent... so what would be your suggestion, can you help me figure it out ? the patenting lasts around a year... at least.... My plan is :
1. branding (product design, packeging, logo etc)
2. marketing (social media, videos, photos, website)
3. apply for patent
4. start crowdfunding campaigns on both platforms

Hello! Thanks for the info! I’ve a question (I hope it won’t seem too stupid 😅) : can I use Kickstarter for earning money from the only campaign? And instead not for obtaining money to launch and produce a project after the Kickstarter campaign? In other words, can I put a Kickstarter project just to earn money only from the campaign ?

You have to spend $5k to launch a kickstarter campaign.
