At that price you should get Magnacut or 15v that would still be overpriced but maybe they won’t sell and go on sale once they have been out for awhile

This is an absolute dream design for me, and in fact I did a sketch years ago that is practically exactly like this. This is about as close as I'll ever get to having my own collaboration knife with Spyderco. I hope they make this in every steel they use.

I love Spyderco but I was tentative about buying at this $260 price point without more premium steel. After reading other comments it seems I’m not alone in this line of thinking. I really hope that this Bodacious releases in magnacut at some point.

Spyderco need to settle down with these prices. I am not buying shit from them anymore. There is jut no value in their knives anymore. Plastic and some stainless liners and a blade for $300 now. GTFO.

Waiting for a better steel. Spyderco's s30v is pretty chippy, on the Shaman at least.

The Shaman definitely needed an update like this. I always thought the Shaman was Spyderco's weakest design.

Found on sale for around $180. Snagged it. Returning it. As a long time Shaman enjoyed, I was hoping this would be Shaman 2.0

The scales kill this knife. No contouring, not knocked down to smooth edges.

It just feels unfinished. Solid blade and I can see how it was inspired by feedback on the Shaman. Thinner, no nub, etc. and it's cool you can blade swap onto a Shaman.

But this is just a miss for me, I'd take a Manic 2 over this design. Maybe aftermarket scales could fix what it's missing? But just feels unrefined from a handle design standpoint.

Spyderco has gone bonkers with their pricing as of late. This knife is a decent design, but s30v & g10 for $260+ is a big nope. The market is flooded with better options, especially in that price range with much better materials.
