I always wondered if Kate Middleton REALLY liked getting her dead mother in law's old engagement ring. I think Princess Diana's death was still too vivid in people's minds and Kate Middleton may have had no choice but to act as if she loved the ring. I think most women want a ring of their very own that was purchased only for them by their fiancé. Using an inherited ring, to me at least, doesn't mean that you want to remember someone by it. To me, it means you are too cheap to buy a ring for your fiancé that was only intended for her alone.
