The dumbest thing is that one of the towers attacked is one near NHS Nightingale in Birmingham (a Covid field hospital). It's a tower essential for use by medical workers as well as to allow people treated there to actually communicate with their families who can't visit them

People, you don't understand what is 5G. Not even 4G, not even 3G. The 5G is a set of standard like USB, HDMI or WIFI standards.
The basics of millimater wave technology is not new, it's effects has been already studied in the 80's. Millimeter waves has been used widely by security scanners at the airports and other high bitrate wireless connections. 5G is not only millimeter waves. This band is mostly intended to be used in public areas like crowded streets, stadiums, airports, public transport stations. The other 5G bands are very similar to 2G, 3G, 4G, but they are using it in other ways to get higher datarate. Also if any part of the 5G standard would be dangerous, the RF engineer community would make huge deal out of it. Right now only flat earthers are concerned.

It is not the same as nuclear radiation. Radiation simply means that the substance or device or whatever radiates "something". In this case, EM radiation is just encoded EM waves which the universe is full of.

People confuse Electromagnetic Radiation with Radioactivity. the're very different topics.
Radon glowing watch faces do cause cancer which is why they have been bannend almost everywhere. Cellphone towers are not radioactive.
Cellphone electromagnetic radiation is the same thing as light, but at a longer wavelenght.
