Pues, aunque como dice Wannyanpu en NND esto es solo una auto-interpretación, al menos queda bastante bien. Sus videos me gustan y aunque este sea un alfa tiene pinta de que va a acabar muy bien.

Una chica cubierta de heridas provocadas por su novio, muestra siempre una sonrisa para fingir que es feliz y se encuentra bien.
*Chico
Un chico triste. Tiene el pelo desordenado. Él se dio cuenta de algo mal con la chica por un largo tiempo, y espera hasta que estás solo para hablar con ella. Él es muy unido a ella.
*Novio
Un estudiante universitario y ella estudiante de secundaria con un par de diferencia de edad

*Por qué estás sonriendo?"
Después de ser sometida a la violencia de su novio, la chica de sus límites mentales y llegó a venir a interpretar todo el dolor como cariño. Ella se vuelve insensible a las emociones y no es capaz de expresarse muy bien. Aun así, ella siempre esta sonriendo porque está convencida de que ella es feliz y amada, pero cuando el chico le dice que sabe que realmente no es asi, ella es incapaz de ocultar su shock y poco a poco comienza a mostrarse a sí misma. Ella no quiere que toquen su mano derecha, porque no quiere olvidar el sentimiento de cuando se tomaba de la mano con su novio. El chico también se dio cuenta de ello así que toma con fuerza su mano.

*La relación entre los dos
Se fue a la escuela media juntos. Para la chica, ella era como, " así que vamos a la misma escuela secundaria también? Qué casualidad!" Mientras que para el chico, es más como " no hay ningún punto en el que vaya a una escuela secundaria donde no estás allí." Él mantiene una distancia con la chica, porque él no quiere causarle mas heridas, está satisfecho con tan solo ver desde la distancia. " incluso si ella ya tiene un novio, "estoy bien con ella mientras ella es feliz". Ese es el tipo de amor que él tiene para ella. Él solo tiene preocupación por ella, se empieza a intervenir con el problema de la chica, él comienza a perder el control sobre sus sentimientos. Y así termina con sentimientos en conflicto.

*La chica de la mente
La chica de cabello rojo es como una personificación de sus verdaderos pensamientos y sentimientos. Ella tiene una mirada en blanco en sus ojos porque la chica ha perdido sus emociones. Su estado se correlaciona para cuando la chica se siente en pánico o shock, y ella lentamente comienza a aparecer en su mente.

*Caramelos y cadenas
El caramelo representa el apego, por lo que significa que la chica está unida a su novio (el caramelo verde). En su mente, ella está tosiendo sangre porque ella comienza a darse cuenta de que los dulces fueron como veneno (que ella no fue amada después de todo). La forma en que la cadena la trataba es sobre las diferencias entre el chico y la chica.

My interpretation:
The song is obviously about toxic relationships. The girl was in a toxic relationship with some other guy. Her eating the candy represents what she's getting from this toxic relationship she has. It's sweet, yet harmful. This is clear with the bright green color, representing toxicity.
It's a pretty interesting metaphor used for toxic relationships. Love is sweet, but it's toxic, but you can't stop because of how "sweet" it is.
However, this boy notices her pain. The very lyrics when he stops her say around the lines "Why do you keep that smile? Hey, where did you learn to fake a smile like that?", showing he is aware of what the girl is hiding.
He tries to stop her and talk to her about it. It's implied she's still in this toxic relationship, as the lyrics say "I have to go. If I'm late, I'll be scolded"
Yeah, that's why she actually wants to run away. Not running away from that guy, she's actually trying to meet the other guy she has a toxic relationship with or else... You know what may happen.
But the girl just gets sick of the relationship. The lyrics in 1:17 kinda says "I really have had enough of these wretched sweet candies!", meaning she is just sick of it.
This guy doesn't give up on her, revealing he too is somehow hurt in the past. The girl finally puts her guard down and they embrace.
However, he may have known her in the past, shown in 1:38.
The girl is seen wrapping bandages around his arm when he was younger. It could be interpreted as how they could heal each other's wounds, however, notice that these same bandages are already seen on him in 1:29. This would meen 1:38 is actually a flashback. The girl was probably already abused by this time as she too also have bandages on her arm.
The guy has been helped by the girl before, and thus, he's returning the favor. That's why the guy went so far to confront her about what's really going on. He wanted to help her like how she did for him.
The guy is seen eating a candy, this time, pink.
Pink represents affection and love. Genuine, at that. Its important to note its not the girl eating it, but the guy. It's to represent what he recieved from the girl's kindness towards him in the past. While the girl recieved toxic candies from her toxic relationship, the guy got the real sweet candies from his relationship with the girl. That's why he's shown eating it AFTER the flashback where he gets helped by the girl, representing healing.

With this interpretation though, what happens next seems to be left open on purpose, leaving it up to the viewer to decide whether or not the boy will just repeat the same thing or not with the girl...
