Why did you have them work that day knowing a hurricane was coming! Shame on your company. No compassion just profits!

45 minutes is NOT enough time under the conditions and what was going on throughout the entire area!!

Blood is on that man's hands. He is responsible for the safety of his employees and he FAILED! He is blaming the employees for not leaving ?!?

He's a lying POS, should be criminally charged and sued into irrelevance

My thought is, if you are at work and you can go home, you go. Why stay at work if you are told you can go home and you are not getting paid? The owner's statement that the employees could go home is ridiculous.

Of course he's going to say that he didn't tell employees not to leave. That is a huge lawsuit. People died bc they couldn't leave.

Profits before people. Plain and simple. Founder and clown is lying.

Good employers immediately call their employees to make sure they are safe (at home on days like this). Impact Plastics immediately called the lawyers to start limiting their liability.

The justice system better make an example of the owner and management or the blue collar citizens will begin to see their worth

He's been instructed by his lawyer on what to say.

I’d love to see a court case against them. Televised.

He lives in Connecticut, he has no idea what was going on except for what management said, Management lie.

This man is either lying or his upper management lied to him because there is both eye witness and video evidence proving that the employees were not allowed to leave until the parking lot was already flooded. Even the general manager of the business next to Impact Plastics said that the employees got out to late and he had to help rescue some of them in a tractor. This man should be charged with at minimum involuntary manslaughter if he is found negligent! Of course he the owner of a business in a small town that depends on those taxes so my guess is that he will just be fined and sued, which is not justice for the employees who perished due to his negligence.

Horrible leadership. Shame on this guy. This is one of the worst apologies i've ever seen. A good leader cares about their workers. It's sad how common these corporate sociopaths are

My condolences to the families who've lost their loved ones and may the survivors find the support they need. 🙏

If that building was a school, would the students have been required to come in... NO!
