I am a Gryffindor and funnily enough my favorite character is Harry Potter himself. I don't think he was 'annoying' since the occasional outbursts that he had was 100% justifiable given to the sheer amount of trauma he has suffered. many ppl say that he was 'overreacting' in OotP but in my opinion he was suffering from severe PTSD from the events of GoF. even after the extensive neglect during his childhood he turned out to be kind and protective towards his friends. not to mention he was mad brave. I simply love him my forever comfort character.

Neville Longbottom is my favorite. His character has such depth and growth. A shy timid boy, who couldn't remember what was in front of him, all the way to being the most badass dude who took down Nagini. I'm a Slytherin all the way, but Neville will forever be my almost chosen one 💚🐍

I’m a Slytherin through and through, but Harry is my all time fave. People who think he’s annoying seem to forget that he was literally a little boy through most of the series. He was seriously traumatized growing up with his aunt and uncle, just to go through so much shit at Hogwarts, too, and he still turned out so kind and protective of his friends. There was not a single bad bone in his body. He’s also witty and funny, mostly in his head, though, so it’s worth reading the books. Harry was also crazily brave. Not just that, but in the end he was willing to die for everyone. He had an amazing character arch. I don’t understand why people don’t like him.

I think either Sirius Black or Hermione were my favorites but probably Sirius. He was always there for Harry and was like a father figure to him. He always tried to be there for him and protect him.
