You have mixed up two sticks. 1. Every officer from 2/Lt to Field Marshal (FM) carries a stick as part of uniform. Officers from 2/Lt to Lt Col carry a stick called regimental cane or stick. As it has the regimentle emblem. Malacca Cane is for the officers from full Col to FM. It is carried as part of uniform. 2. The stick which is exchanged at time of change of command is not Malacca stick. It is called baton of command, especially prepared stick with itched names of predecessors & with their period of incumbancy. 3. In our Army Brigadier rank is usually referred as Brig or one star general but never called as Brig General. Another obsevation. The pic for an on looker gives impression that Gen Mushraf & Kanyani are saluting with left hand. Infact the photo is obversly printed. No one in any Army salutes with left hand. 4. Most funny about the cane is Punch Line; چھڑی ٹوٹنے پر کیا سزا دی جاتی ہے۔؟-What punishment & to whom? It is so funny! Overall rating of this v-log is POOR.

Malacca is the term that were use in previous historic times. Now it is called Melaka which is located in Malaysia and not in Indonesia nor Singapore. the cane may located at Indonesia & Singapore also because the Melaka state is near to them.
