For those of you wondering if the Pistons were “old” in 1990-91 season when the Bulls broke through and beat them - I looked it up. Of their main players: Isiah was 29. Dumars was 27. Rodman 29. Salley 26. Aguirre 31, Laimbeer 33.
Old in NBA years is usually considered to be 34/35. So they absolutely were NOT old.
Incidentally, when Bulls won their last championship in 97-98 : Jordan was 34, Rodman was 36, Pippen was 32, Longley was 29 and Harper was 34.

I loved the Piston-Bull rivalry. The games were great and of course...physical! Most people in Detroit wouldn't buy Jordan shoes b/c of the rivalry.
