Gotta love buy mode for 20 USD. EA basically took the strongest thing about the Sims 4 which is build and buy mode and started to milk it with kits and this pack.

Carl’s sim guide literally proved this pack is broken. You can trash the whole room with deleting everything and just put three items in there with dog poo and sims will love it. Tragic

Imagine if this pack would have came with a new world with ~purposefully~ bad homes that you could have renovated (not limited to just that new world but it would have given even more houses to change)

Basically, if you enjoy building and want more variety of stuff to furnish houses with, it's worth it. If you're not interested in building in the Sims, it's not worth it. I wish they had added more gameplay to this pack, even just one more thing and it'd probably be more worthwhile.

This feels like EA knows builders and build challenges on YT/ The Gallery are what keeps this game alive and on people's lips, so they've just called it a career and sold it to us so we're essentially doing the thing we were already doing but EA can give themselves a pat on the back for 'listening to the community'.

I was really excited for dream home decor, but the problem is is that this can get so repetitive. The likes and dislikes are useless, and you barely get anything for 20 dollars. This was rather a stuff pack/kit, not a game pack.

Honestly, I'll probably buy it just for the furniture. But not until it's on sale. No pack is really worth full price anyway.

I'm playing it right now and have already encountered a gig where i was limited to renovating the ground floor but it was an apartment on the "second floor" in Evergreen Harbor and it wouldn't let me change anything because it wasn't the designated level 🙃 Really hope this gets fixed next patch but still disappointing. The build/buy is great tho.

At first when the pack was announced I was like "OMG I NEED THIS!!" Then I realized umm no I don't. I could already and have already changed many Sims houses with no problem. I believe it's the flashy and newness of the pack that made "everyone" crazy for it. We have to realize that this is EA and that is how they operate. I will still get this but when it goes to it's proper price of half off or more lol. In the mean time, I can already change the Pancakes home how I would want or how I perceive they would want and get sectional couches some other time.

Honestly as a person who loved playing Happy Home Designer, I think I’d really like the pack

I would like to have this as a stuffpack. I really like the style of the items and clothes, but I dont want to pay 10 dollars extra just for a carrer that i will never play.
