The reason why it was easier for clones to Akimbo than in real life was because

A. Don’t have to worry about reloading as much, blasters are effficient and have a lot of “ammo” but overheating was a bigger problem
B. Clone helmets had crosshairs in them, as seen briefly during the Bad Batch. This allows clones to not have to use iron sights or scopes as often
C. Blasters are very light, for their size and bulk and low recoil.
D. The DC17 packed a lot of fire power in a sidearm. Comparable to Han’s blaster rather than Leia’s

This is still one of the strongest weapons that is, carrier able buy mainline people. These things are incredibly deadly, and on top of clones having a enemy detecting a hud in the helmet. It's honestly a point-and-shoot at this point.

For the most part of the war Rex was a captain not commander, most commanders used the DC-15 or the regular blaster rifle, ARCs and some troopers used the DC-17s as they allowed better rates of fire more mobility and less bulkiness

Interesting tho, in battlefront 2 its modeled after a glock, you can kinda see the frame, but i wonder what the inspiration was before that, cause clone wars was long running before that game, and most star wars guns are based off a real one (unlike jango's)

They are good pistols but I feel like they’re way too small honestly they feel like more like scout class or something

I would prefer a bigger pistols just like Captain Fordo’s DC17 blasters only except they’re a bit bigger than the regular ones

Do you think some clones had different hand dominance then others? Because you see commander fox twice, favour his left with a gun here and once in his right.
