Kia Isn't Done With Sedans Yet! 2025 Kia K4 First Look

Sadly the era of my bad Forte jokes is almost over. Almost. Why? Because the Forte is now the K4. What's with the K names? Well Kia has long used K for their sedans in other markets like the K5, K8, K9, etc and the brand has decided to consolidate the names where it makes sense. Et voila! K4. Will there be a K3? Yep, in other markets a K3 will kinda-sorta replace the Rio, but we're unsure if we're getting that here. Fun fact, the Forte was called the K3 in other markets, but the K4 is replacing the K3 with a new K3 filling in a slot below the K4. Still with me? Sensible names haven't been Kia's Forte in the past, so it's a bit confusing. (See, I told you there'd be more).

Love the design of this car, it doesn't look like anything else. I also love the color of this K4. I think Kia designers have really knocked it out of the ballpark with all their designs lately.

I purchased this motor vehicle within the last month September 2024.
It is my first time buying from this manufacturer.
I went with the morning haze exterior with black cloth interior. Out the door including my taxes is $25600. So far I'm pleased with what I purchased. From Key West Florida. I purchased 4 hours up the road Miami.

The new Kia K4 makes the Corolla look very cheap. 12-inch screen standard?! Now that's mind-blowing.

I hate the trend of tiny rear windows----and since it's positioned in such a way that reduces rear visibility quite a bit. I'll be looking careful at the: HATCHBACK! The latter won't have this issue.

I love my current Kia Forte. Having issues with the trunk opening on its own. Waiting for 3rd party warranty to approve the fix. Other than that. No major issues. 117k miles and saving me gas.

I've never liked the back door handles on the top corner of the door. Honda hrvs and some Toyota suvs do the same.

Id be shocked if the base model is 22K. My guess is 24K to more directly compete with the new Civic...
