Gear:

Exposure Info & Camera Settings

Camera on tripod
Aperture Priority Mode
Spot Metering on Waterfall
Single Point Focus on Waterfall
28sec, F11.0, iso: 160 (Lowest Native iso for this camera) at 16mm
*Note - Because of the longer exposure, the flow of water over the waterfall looks more full and significant than it actually was. When I metered off the waterfall, there was more gray rock showing through the water allowing a more accurate meter reading than if I metered off of white water as it appears.

Thanks Anthony, I'm about to have a binge fest on these tutorials and hopefully get to understand this Editing Suite. Me being a old snapper thought it about time I learned to edit my Drives full of Digital Images from ground zero!

Hi Anthony - excellent video as always, many thanks. Re the customised tool tab (with the "1" icon) you created, rather than expanding the whole panel width so you can see it, you can just move it to a more prominent position by (on a Mac), holding Command, click left and hold then re-position the new tab by moving it further to the left in the row of tool tabs (or to wherever you would like it to be).

I am just about to trial capture one, so this is really helpful. Especially as you are able
to have it emulating the Lightroom layout.

Anthony, thanks for the VERY informative video on customizing Capture One workspace! Coming from LR, I see that moving stuff around is a BIG plus. I'm starting with your color workflow and see how that works for me. Are you planning on showing your custom workflow for black and white? Also, is there an easy way to flip the crop orientation from horizontal to vertical with a touch of a button? Thanks again.

Another good video, Anthony. Thanks. I'm sure you already know this, but you can also remove tool tabs to better customize your workspace. For example, I never do any batch processing, so I removed the "Batch" tool tab as part of my customized workspace.

Thanks for addressing how to make a "virtual copy" (I forgot the Capture One term for it. I use that a lot. Also, thanks for showing how to customize the workspace -- that can be very useful.

I like the way you set up your color tool. How do you set up your B/W tool?

Excellent video Anthony. This is exactly what I was looking for in changing the layout of the screen to my needs. Do you have another basic, elementary video that walks thru the bar at the top left of the screen and other cursor tools within Capture One? thanks

Haha great video. You set up your custom toolbar exactly how I did!

Hi Anthony, You've got me v. seriously thinking about finally quitting Adobe LR & PS and getting Capture One. One question. is there any area that Capture One falls down when compared to LR ? Thanks.

Mr Morganti, the URL for the Capture One site doesn't work for me. When I click on it, in either Edge or Chrome, I get a notification that there are too many redirects and the site doesn't open. Can you please send another link? I'd like to use your affiliate link to buy Capture One because I value your training videos.

I still use lr cc for catalogue purposes. Then I use mainly capture one pro 12 or sometimes dxo photo lab 2 for raw processing. I find capture one videos for using sessions a little complicated because I integrate it with lr. Have you considered doing some videos on the workflow in regards to using lr as the catalog? The whole process starting in lr, processing in capture one, then back to lr? Thanks for your videos as they are very helpful.

Thank you so much. I have C1 v22. at 8:58, I don't have the option to Add tools. I only have the options below the line. Add Tool Tab. How can I get the option to Add Tools? Disregard, I found it. I have to right click down below. Thanks.

I am on capture one 21 and can no longer control click to add a tool....? Any ideas why not? Did they change that option?
