The Mercouri Estate is located in the Western Peloponnese on the plateau of the Ichthis peninsula near the village of Korakochori, very close to Katakolo port and Ancient Olympia. It is a historic winery, founded in 1864, oriented in the cultivation of vines and olives, which in constant evolution, 150 years after its foundation by Theodore Mercouri in 1864, continues to supply the domestic and global market with wine and olive oil of the highest quality. It belongs to the Mercouri family and today the company is operated by the 4th and 5th generation of the family.

The estate vineyards are located beside the family residence and in two nearby locations, with a total area of approximately 40 acres. The land and the climate are particularly well-suited for the production of high-quality wines and the vineyards are certified for Best Farming Practice. The estate grows more than 15 varieties of grape of both Greek and international origin, from which the wines are produced. The annual production exceeds 120,000 bottles 40% of which is exported to over 12 countries around the world.

Mercouri Estate is also involved in the field of agrotourism. Large and small parties of friends of nature and wine are welcome to visit the vineyards and olive groves of the estate, the premises of the winery and the small folklore museum with the collection of old farm tools and machinery and walk among the trees to the beach coming into contact with the beautiful nature that surrounds the estate. The experience is completed by tasting the wines, under centuries-old pine trees, overlooking the Ionian Sea and Zakynthos
