Allison came to visit New York a few weeks back, and was kind enough to reach out and ask if we could record some more music together. I grew up listening to this song, and it seemed like a natural fit for Allison's style.

Josh began making YouTube videos in 2007. Ranging from popular to esoteric, local to far flung, and playful to serious, Josh’s videos offer a little something for everyone. Josh also performs regularly with long-time collaborator, Carson McKee, as the folk duo The Other Favorites. Josh’s first full-length solo album, As Good A Place As Any, was released in April 2019.
Equipment/Techniqes:
Guitar is MIM Telecaster with Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, neck position.
Amp is a Fender Acoustasonic Jr., recorded by an sE8 pencil condenser pointed at the tweeter about 5 inches away.
Vocal mic is a Vanguard V13, "two clicks towards omni."
Preamps are an ART Pro MPA II, interface is a Zoom UAC-8.
Edited in Pro Tools - Klanghelm MJUC, Valhalla Plate, Waves J37.
Filmed on a Canon EOS 200D with a 24mm f/2.8 in Technicolor Cinestyle. Edited in Premiere.
