I agree with your assessment. The Pura Car needs to be wireless. The battery should be built-in and long lasting, like 'nest' smoke detectors.

The dashcam wire, you could have that routed behind the panels in your car. I have a radar detector and a dashcam in my truck, both are hard wired and the only part of the cords that you can see if you look is from the device to right before it goes behind panels and both run along the overhead liner. As for the PURA, if you have cup holders in the back and they are not used very often I would use them. My truck has cup holder in the front and the back end of the center console, then the back seat also has a center piece that folds down and has cup holders in that as well.
