Film stock you should use in 2022 : anything that isn't in shortage and under 30$ per roll.

Kodak Gold has a look to die for. Beautiful film

Great timing on the video, just bought some UltraMax for no other reason that it was the cheapest Kodak color film available haha.

Not sold on the Lomo film (any for that matter), but seeing shots from the same photographer really helps me choose.

I just shot my first roll of Kodak Gold, 120 format, and I loved the results it gave me. Great colors and a fine grain results in amazing photos. It has become my go to film.

The only thing I've been able to get my hands on lately is Fuji Superia 400. Wasn't the biggest fan until I tried overexposing it, really getting good results but I wish Kodak Gold was more available!

All I can say: I wish. The prices are insane right now!

I currently have lomo 800 in my camera right now. Good to know it's one of your faves!

Try one of the KODAK VISION3 film stocks, the 50D, 250D, 200T or the 500T. Here in Europe it is repackaged by Silbersalz35 and optional included with a ECN2 develop process and scanning with a professional film scanner.

I like the way Ultramax looks and it was easy to go to Walgreens and buy a three-pack of it. Though, recently it seems, Walgreens has stopped selling it.

Gonna try the Lomo 800, never thought of picking it up, but now I'm curious. This summer I picked up some Ultramax because it was what was available(nowadays you take what you can get...) and I'm really getting into it.
As for Kodak Gold...not my favourite. If I can find it(which is a rarity these days) I usually go for Colorplus. What you like about the Gold is what I don't like about the Gold. There's a yellow-ish green-ish hue that comes out in some pictures that I really dislike, which is what gives it that retro look, so...if I can't find colorplus for a 200ISO I just go up and shoot Ultramax at 400.

Thanks - I would have never considered a Lomo film, but your photos have me reconsidering!

Kodak Color Plus 200 is such an awesome stock - it makes even my cloudy Pittsburgh look like an oasis - I love it it gives such vibrant and warm colors

The prices of the former two in China have more than tripled over the past year, and more and more film photographers have begun shooting motion picture films (5207) 😅😅

I usually just buy what they have in stock. I found some ektachrome E100 and am really excited to try it out

Nothing of these have been in stock for almost 1 year. Kodak ColorPlus 200 is JUST available at B&H for $17 per roll. Crazy times.
