I read this story on Reddit how a student got robbed but he only had a mattress and a crate. The robber felt sorry for him and told him to wait, then a few hours later brought him furniture and things for his house.

I've heard a story of how a college students' apartment got broken into. He came home to find the would be robber standing in the middle of the place staring hopelessly at the void and saying, "You literally have nothing but a mattress. Not even a proper bed frame..." It's the first time a robbery attempt happen where the thief actually insisted on GIVING the student stuff to help him furnish his apartment instead of robbing the place successfully. It was a wild story.

From several years ago the college I went to some students were walking on the campus at night a guy with a gun from the dangerous neighborhood nearby demanded their money, between the half dozen of them there was $20. No stickups have occured since.
The joke is that if they want our money they can go to the Dean.
