Everyone is also ignoring the fact that the bite handle seemingly clips through the guys fingers at the end. While opening a knife like that is not impossible, it takes a hell of a lot of practice time and quick finger movement. His fingers do not more nearly as quick enough, if at all. The alternate draw animation is perfectly fine, it's just the quick one motion one that is the problem.

i hated butterfly knives in csgo because of this. i noticed because i actually flip butterfly knives, and i am so glad they fixed it in cs2

The reason why this happens is topology of the model or wrong weight painting. As it seems to be, the arm doesnt bend the way it needs to be. Becuase either arms topology is bad or weight painting is.

same as how that same pullout animation "flicks" the blade and it goes straight through the fingers to "catch" it.
