This is the POCO F6 Pro (Global Variant) - the latest addition to the POCO F Series smartphones. It is an all-around flagship smartphone that is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a stunning WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, and cameras that can provide a professional-level photography experience.

What's happening is that the POCO F6 pro is actually the redmi K70 (china variant) which was release on november 2023 and the POCO F6 is the Redmi Turbo 3 (china variant) which was release on april 2024. Poco rebrands the Redmi line up. Back then, from POCO F2 to POCO F4 series, all Poco F series is a rebrand of the Redmi K series, the Non Pro POCO F series is the Non Pro version of the Redmi's K series and the Pro version of the POCO series is the Pro versions of the Redmi's K series. Therefore the design language is the same back then and the upgrade is noticeable from the Non Pro POCO F series to the Pro POCO F series being that they came from the same series line.
That was changed when the POCO F5 series was launched and decided that the regular POCO F5 is the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and the POCO F5 Pro is the Redmi K60. that's why the design is different and in some cases, the regular POCO F series now is much better to buy than the Pro version. and it looks like that it will the trend for POCO now.
The regular F series will be the Redmi's Turbo series and the F Pro will be the K series (Non pro).
you can tell that now, the POCO F6 is more like a different phone from the POCO F6 Pro.

bro, I don't think most ppl would mind the reduction in megapickles/resolution of the pro's cameras, when compared with the previous gen, as long as it has an improved sensor with a lower f-stop combined with better software processing

What's happening!!!?😱😡🤬 Thank you for pointing out and highlighting this "what's happening" things. Poco has a large customer based in Malaysia due to its pricing and specs, but when they do things like this, it's perhaps the best way to annoy their customers. I ALWAYS buy Poco Pro but I will skip this F6 Pro until their development and marketing teams find out what a horrible decision they've taken. Outrageous! Time to move to iPhone!!! (Just kidding, I am a brokie I can't afford iPhones, nevertheless I'm still mad😡😅)
