Google Docs Full Screen Mode - How to Enter and Exit

To enter full screen mode in Google Docs. Select 'View', then select 'full screen'. This removes the Google docs menu. To provide you with even more distraction free full screen space, key press 'f11' to remove the browser menu also.

To exit full screen in Google docs, key press 'f11' to get the browser menu to appear again and then key press 'ESC' to get the google docs menu to reappear.

Works in Microsoft word as well.

if you do right click and select the "exit full screen" option then it also work as well😊

This is not full screen width like Word does. The text (or page) is still only using a little over 1/2 width of the screen. Is it possible to have Google Docs use the entire width, placing the blank screen on the left and right off the screen?

google doc offered to make my screen full screen automatically and I accepted it without thinking twice and now it has made my google docs fricking wide and its agitating me and I'm unsure on how to revert it back to the original size

thats not full screen. full screen would be as wide as the screen
