WRONG. You go to Settings>General Management>Keyboard List and Default>Keyboard Button on Navigation Bar. (Turn on toggle). No one on youtube gets this right!

For those who are still not able to see the mic, one thing which you need to do is :
1. Search keyboard list and default in setting
2. On top there is an option called default keyboard, click on that and check whether "show keyboard buttons" is enabled or not.

So there's no way to get it back to the top of the keyboard? This sucks. It is now inaccessible when the phone is in my Ram truck holder.. Plus it's a ridiculously inconvenient position anyway.

You can also put the input on the spacebar. To do this, go to the Samsung keyboard settings, then go to Swipe, touch, and feedback. Next, go to Touch and hold spacebar and select Voice input.

Thank you so much for creating this video. I had an update come through to my Samsung Galaxy S23 with Android 14, and when it completed the microphone was gone. I even went so far to install the GBoard, which worked, but I wanted the Samsung layout.

Whoever coded this update has likely inflicted a lot of aggravation and wasted time to many thousands, if not millions, of users. Who QA'd this update? Great work, whoever you are!

I've done all your suggestions which got me further as I can use the manual hold bottom left keyboard icon to select Google voice. However holding it only gives me "input method" As the option. Stock s24

Thank you so much. I've been trying to fix this for 3 hours. Ever since I did the update to 6.1. It took away my speak to text Mike at the top. Now it's done at the bottom.
And the g board does not speak my keys out loud. I have a vision problem. And I need to hear what i'm typing also but the google Gboard does speak outlook.

Thanks friend it worked.
You would think they make more simple

I just updated my S23 and could not find the mic button. This video helped me fix the problem. I do not like the new location, but at least I can use it again!
