Twins Separated at Birth Update

Sadly this twin is harsh, cold like the mother and refuses a relationship with her sister w/out bio Mom being involved. This bio mother is so cold. She wouldn’t give up her horses to keep both. This sister said I wouldn’t have my horses/all I have if my mother didn’t make this choice. The adopted twin is so damn lucky to have escaped this family, my opinion from watching all the interviews.

I think they should imagine rhe trauma that creates to know your mom chose one and gave away the other and have no remorse and no regrets that’s a lot to process

This family has no empathy. Everything they talk about is financial example “She wouldn’t want to give up her life for an apartment” Did they ever stop to think maybe she feels resentment for being the one they gave away regardless if she had a good upbringing 😓

The adopted sister owes you nothing no apology. It’s insane that you think she owes you anything you gave her away for financial reasons. That’s not good enough. It’s cruel to separate twins at the very least you could’ve arranged for these girls to know each other growing up. She doesn’t owe you a thing and she actually is better off staying with the family. She grew up with and I disagree with Jay. I don’t think she’s going come around. I think she’s going get married and have her own family without, the biological ones. The reason she wants nothing to do with you is because you’re explanation doesn’t make sense. You gave her her up because you couldn’t afford it. But keeping it a secret from everyone, including the twins themselves is beyond bizarre.

I wish everyone healing, there’s a lot of pain in adoption and reunion. Dawn said something that’s most important “don’t let emotions lead”. Please give your daughter and sister some time to heal. She’s living in between so many realities and needs to sort this information out. Mikayla, you should focus on your relationship with your twin sister separately. You don’t need to defend y’all mother, she can speak for herself. Your sister needs support and to feel safe in reunification; offer her perspective instead. She pulling back because emotionally she doesn’t feel safe. Read the primal wound; it’ll help y’all better understand. Send her the book on the girls who went away; so she can better understand the difficult decision that was made. I guess I don't get why they gave away one up for adoption is there a previous video that explains that. And my sister was a single mom to twins and she worked hard to give them what they needed. Can't picture putting one up for adoption.

Unfortunately, this will bother her until there is a resolution. Let’s go forward and turn this into a positive for her. She deserves to know her birth family on her terms. Nobody wants to take her away, we want to just be a positive in her life, as much as she wants us.
