Monar and Autry teamed up for their first collaboration and bring this iconic yet worldwide-exclusive high-top sneaker to the front scene. This timeless classic silhouette features one of the most well-known tourist souvenirs from the City of Antwerp: ‘het handje’ embroidered on the right foot and the name of the city printed on the left foot. Each tongue features a reflective label with the brands' logos.

Het handje, translated from Dutch to ‘the small hand’ finds its origins in the legend of Brabo and Antigoon: the soldier Brabo would have cut off the hand of the giant Antigoon to free up the city of the toll he was asking the navigators of the Scheldt river. Afterward, Antwerp began to prosper thanks to its free trade.
