RAV4 Prime 0-60MPH LAUNCH!!

Try 0-60 when the engine is on, the extra time it takes to start the engine puts the car about 0.3sec slower. Ive gotten 5.5 0-100kmh/ 0-60mph

Just pick one up last week but got the discounted 23 se and the fed rebate ( lease only) best car I have ever owned. Have driven 200 miles and only have used engine for fun in passing hemi trucks that think there quick 😂

I think hybrid mode it has the combined power of 302hp and 288 torque. That’s make this vehicle quicker.

Got mine and I love it. Wife is happy, I can smoke other soccer moms and get 50 mi on EV mode. Life is good.

I bought a 2012 rav4 limited v6 with all options for $17k with 95k miles on it. Very fast and I have tested the 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds! Very reliable unlike the junk AMG GLC63 I owned couple of years ago. Glad I got rid of the Mercedes.
I drove it all the way from Midwest to Arizona when I bought it from Indiana and I have beaten mustangs, bmw 550i, Toyota Camry, Tacoma and many more on the interstate. They last forever and I have seen several on line with 300k miles!

Is there a speed limit on EV mode? My 2024 Prime XSE seems it can do pure EV Mode at 90 mph

You should try sports mode with EV mode. That one is nuts

Why in EV its in Eco Mode when every 2 Hybrid Mode Run is js on Sport.

My old 2010 rav4 with the 3.5L v6 goes to 0-60 in about 6 seconds

As much as I’d love a hybrid and smooth shifting I just can’t get past a CVT of any kind that doesn’t even have simulated shifts. I’m blown away by just how many people spend so much money and the experience is generally >Great. Maybe it’s just me but does this bother anybody else as much as it bothers me??

Does yours not have sport mode? Is that just XSE models?
I can get under 5 in hybird sport. I have paddle shifters too. Official time should be around 4.3

Whats the highest speed that you can go on EV or electric before the motor turns on ?? Because I’ve been looking at videos and some people say 25 miles other say it only works best at parking lots etc.. so can some one help me ?

I think Toyota is misleading with the power figures. I looked on their website and the engine puts out supposedly 177 hp even though it’s the same thing as a normal rav4 which has 203 hp. Not only that I noticed it shows motor torque separately and it’s separated further by front and rear figures. When I added everything together with the same engine specs as the normal one, I got 435 hp and 477 lb-ft of torque. That explains why it’s so fast. I think Toyota wanted to keep the figures low but I’m not sure why.
