Arielle Kayabaga est une femme politique canadienne qui représente la circonscription de London-Ouest à la Chambre des communes. Née à Bujumbura, au Burundi, elle a immigré au Canada en tant que réfugiée à l'âge de 11 ans. Kayabaga a marqué l'histoire en devenant la première femme noire élue au conseil municipal de London, en Ontario, puis en tant que députée. Arielle Kayabaga is a Canadian politician who represents the riding of London West in the House of Commons. Born in Bujumbura, Burundi, she immigrated to Canada as a refugee at the age of 11. Before her political career, she worked as a settlement worker for new immigrants in Canada and has been an advocate for affordable housing, women's health, and civic engagement. In 2023, she was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and was also honored as Politician of the Year by One Young World for her contributions to community leadership and global development initiatives.
