Works! I put the bait (3 peanut halves) at the far most section from the entrance opening [didn’t want to use sticky messy peanut butter (if I did use peanut butter, I’d probably put in a small plastic cup, like the sauce cup thingy when you order out)]

Caught 2 pretty big mouse 2 days in a row. Hired exterminators, they didn’t do jack except put baits which I have no idea where the mice would die and stink up the house.

Only downside, it uses 4 AA batteries, I bought 4 rechargeable batteries with a charger, but one unit takes 4, so I just ordered more batteries and 2 more of these units (got the 2 pack) since I live in a duplex, will provide the other two to my neighbor.

So much better than exterminator or unsightly glue pads. This thing blinks when it kills and detects the dead mouse

Why can’t rechargeable batteries be used?

You need to make it 1000% more clear about where and how to put the bait. Both pictures show the bait touching metal.

I mean in the instructions that come with the thing. There’s no way to figure out where to put the bait without watching several YouTube videos.
