Here's a theory - the singer of "Foggy Dew" is implied to be someone who witnessed the Easter Rising, rather than directly participated in it. Someone who was just "passing through the glen" when the uprising suddenly happened. And since Odessa here is a 300-year-old vampirate...maybe she ACTUALLY witnessed the Easter Rising. She was in Dublin, in 1916, selling rum or something, when she unwittingly became a witness to history.

The Fogy Dew is has this like, haunting graceful beauty i love it. Had only heard a slower more traditional acoustic version but this works so well too.
