I just finished paying off my 5th and final student loan with this predatory company. My advice: DO NOT do any business with Sallie Mae as they are difficult and irritating to deal with. I paid off my last loan online, but when I called to ask when will I receive a mailed letter saying I am officially finished, the agent sounded defeated because Sallie Mae will no longer be getting anymore money from me.

Don’t borrow from Sallie May. Their hard to deal with and keep changing the rate. It’s like a legal loan shark. You never finish paying them.

I just want 100 percent of my ATP loan deferred until signed onto an airline. If they can do that then I’d sign up for flight school

Hi.. I have Sallie mae loan and have been paying only the interest during school, but maybe because I signed up variable loan rate seems like my interest rate has been fluctuating and now I just noticed it went up 7.6%... from 4.25% when I signed up right b4 the pandemic hit. It was cheaper at that time because they offered the fix interest rate almost 6%...
Do you have any great ideas for me ... will I see this % rate fluctuate even higher? I'm afraid the interest rate be like credit card rates.. I really want to be able to get some benefits out when I start paying this loan off... but I think 7.6% rate is high for student loan.

Sallie mae might actually not be for me. I wanted to get a student loan since I can't get a cosigner and I thought I could pay it during my time at university

ADA workers were discriminated against, managers displayed actions of deformation of character to colleagues, sexual misconducts were never addressed, systems had several flaws and no real answers, feedback was never welcomed kindly & ambition was frowned upon. People who work at this company are blind and selfish and only care about what’s going to benefit them. This company is predatory, unfair and should not require so much stress from employees and customers. What they said they will never do is teach students that if you take out a loan that it will take you 9 years to basically be paying the actual principal of the loan if you get a certain type of loan paying only the MMP which is a vital piece of information to inform students and parents but they don’t care because the lack of knowledge only benefits them more.

Really good and i'd like students loan via sallie mae being i'm not US citizen, i'm international student, always i pursue my dream to study specifically in US, but i don't know how to find US cosigner.

My grandson took out a loan on 9/6/24 but he have change his mind and to cancel the loan. I’am the co- signer if school send the money back to Sallie Mae will clear me off the loan?

Do not get a sallie mae loan with them. Their customer service sucks really, really bad. And interest rate was really high 13% find other options but not sally mae
