How to EASILY Beat MASTER MODE Eye of Cthulhu in Terraria 1.4!!

For mastermode eye of cthulhu, I reccomend the S.D.M.G with chlorophyte bullets(for ez hits when the eye dashes) and full vortex armor. this will ensure that when your bullets hit, they will hit hard. I also reccomend other accessories for movement and damage. You can put on a ranger emblem for extra damage, a celestial moonshell will fit in your build quite nice, and just for personal preference, a master ninja gear. this is so that you can dash and have a chance to not get hit. once you defeat the eye of cthulhu, (if) you can unlock the shield of cthulhu, which is a very important item. now you can move up to better gear, such as hellstone.

If you spend time exploring the underground desert, Bone Javelins are a good pick if you are good at using throwing weapons, with 20 damage and a stackable penetration effect, while each javelin is dealing a bonus 3 damage per second, up to 6 javelins sticking to one target, up to a whopping 21 damage per second without adding in the javelins themselves, makes a pretty good weapon. Stack this with fossil armor for the bonus 8% crit for 12% crit on ranged weapons by default and you have a formidable early-game character.

You can use rails. Go until the way ends and then turn back. Ads usually stack on rails. When you're riding minecart, it's very hard to hit you for eye of ctulhu. Make sure that while you're damaging eye of ctulhu, he's out of your screen. Whenever he turns into 3d stage and the way ends soon, I suggest you turn back and do the same.
p.s: doesn't work well with warriors and summoners, due to slow projectiles and melee weapons.

here are class specific ways to do it
melee: amazon yoyo/thorn chakram and gold/platinum set (if you are desperate you can get ancient shadow armor) (click read more for a few more notes)
ranged: as waffle said himself *The MiniShark* and if you want you could go for the fossil armor
mage: (i dont really know much about this class) crimson rod/vilethorn and if possible jungle armor and in some worlds the water bolt is near the surface of the dungeon i guess you could use that
summoner: you cant really do much with summoner right now but you really want to then I'd suggest flinx staff, flinx coat with high defence helmet and greaves, a snapthorn or the whip from zoologist

a few more notes for melee
you could run the extra mile and head for the eater of worlds or brain of Cthulhu first
now hear me out *You dont HAVE to kill it* but if you can good for you, you only need a few shadow scales/tissue samples and make the nightmare/deathbringer pickaxe to get hellstone armor, flamerang and pierce the eye of Cthulhu's eye

you can just build a 150 block railway and just hammer the sides to bouncer and shoot the eye

something I found out works too for if you can attack from a range is setting up a railway in the sky, making the ends bumpers, and just fighting the eye
