If you have a key fob to unlock or start your car it should always be inside a Faraday bag when you are not driving. The new thing with car thieves is to drive around and grab the code your fob is always sending out looking for its car. Then they come back later and use that code to unlock your car and steal it. In less than 12 hours your car is can be in a shipping container heading for a cargo ship out of the country. My spare never leaves its assigned bag, and my main has one it lives in until I'm ready to start my car to leave.
If you want to find out if the bag works, put it in one and walk outside and try your car door. If the door opens, the bag is Chicom knockoff junk.

I’ve been using mission darkness for many years now and I love them. I trust them. Thanks for the credit as well. I’m going to give them a try. I keep my key fob in a bag daily in my pocket. I test it regularly since I open and close it they will last about a year.
Another way your being tracked at least in a big city are LPR. Knowing the location of them is a good idea but since some police cruisers are equipped with them as well it’s still a bit suspect. I’m going to look at them.

Your car is a built in tracker! Can be tracked LIVE.
So unless you have a 80s and older car you will always be tracked, traced

I remember in our Digital Forensics training, Troopers carried a paint can and a roll of aluminum foil in the backs of the cruisers. They get a phone from a suspect, they wrap the phone in foil and put it in the empty paint can. No calls or anything getting through that lol. They learned from experience (suspect asked for their one call on the phone and gave their personal info to a friend who then called their cell provider, reported the phone stolen and then the device was wiped). If any law enforcement are reading this, wrap the phone in foil at least when its confiscated.

I've had the mission darkness cell phone bag since 2018, and since you did this video, I went and checked my bag out again. So at this point, 5 years later, the phone signal is blocked, not only partially with wi-fi, and won't block Bluetooth.
I honestly didn't fully test this in the beginning, so can't say if it ever fully worked.

Can you verify if your bag stops wifi and Bluetooth?
I tested the Bluetooth with music that was on my phone, and it played. So nothing streaming with wifi.

I wish one of these companies would come up with a faraday bag to line a metal trashcan I have all these little bags that are expensive have one the size of a trash bag that fits inside a metal trashcan so you can just put everything inside it and seal it in

How can a phone test be adequate.
When i walk in my metal shop i get no cell servce no internet nothing no one can call or make it ring. does that mean my metal shop with the door wide open is a 50 foot faraday cage 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Lots of confusion surrounding these type of bags and EMP protection in general and I'm certainly no expert. Currently I''m not concerned about being tracked by my cell phone, I'm concerned with a high frequency EMP event designed to knock out civilian and military electronics. How likely is it that these bags will protect a laptop in such an event? Are there military standards for EMP bags and do these bags meet those military standards for EMP protection? Thanks.

Why doesn't the metal body of the vehicle act as a Faraday cage?

Bad thing about these is that they are only 3.25" inside, so they won't work with any phone that has a otter box or life case on it. That is a big error on their part in my opinion.

There are 1000s and 1000s of LPR and regular cameras everywhere.
There is nothing you can do to go completely off grid.

Yeah they work if you can afford it. A bit pricey. Much more so than your common household aluminum foil. Another video showed a double layer does exactly the same thing. No it doesn't look presentable but for a burner phone I'd rather keep it private.
