The fact that nobody talks about the book Matrix Golden Cashflow Tactics, speaks volumes why people dont earn a lot of money..

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

I'm thrilled with the election results and the year-end market rally! With $100K to invest, which hidden gems would you recommend for the upcoming bull run? My goal is to position myself for a strong Q1 in 2025.

Everyone keeps blaming supply chain issues or the Fed, but there’s something else at play, I swear. I’ve been reading up on corporate consolidation and how it's driving prices up.

My greatest concern is how to recover from all these economic and global troubles and stay afloat especially with the political power tussle going on in US.

If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you... prevent inflation

With markets tumbling and inflation soaring which means more red ink for portfolios. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stock portfolio, or are there ways I can safely profit from this volatile mkt?

My husband is a hazmat trucker doing fuel deliveries for a small gas station. So, I am keenly aware of how fuel weaves its tentacles through everything because the delivery costs are built in to the price of goods.

It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about recession and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.

It's not even just the fuel to deliver the bread. It affects the cost of seed for farmers, the cost of fertilizer, fuel for the machines. Farmers have to nearly triple their yields to break even.

Stop the wind turbines. Talk to ranchers and farmers about how the ground around the wind turbines is drying up the ground, interfering with bird migration. Useless in places that have hard winters.

As a Texan conservative with a background in oil and gas engineering, I’d like to shed some light on the 10+ years dead Keystone Pipeline project and and broader energy/inflation issues. Keystone was designed to transport tar sands from Canada to the U.S. for refining. However, tar sands are harder to refine and require more energy, making the process less efficient. The oil from Keystone was meant for export, not for lowering U.S. gas and energy prices. Any impact on the price of oil would have been minimal, and the benefit to everyday Americans (at the gas station or trickle down through the grocery store) would hardly be felt.

Meanwhile, here in Texas, our power grid is already stretched thin. We face rolling blackouts every freeze and summer, yet even our officials struggle to secure cheaper energy domestically. Keystone was never going to be a solution for the average American. Instead, it posed serious environmental risks, particularly to our water and food sources, which could be contaminated by pipeline leaks. Many of us in the oil and gas sector have already pivoted toward green initiatives, recognizing that climate change is real. We’re working hard to find cleaner ways to source and refine oil, so it's clear that fossil fuels will not disappear overnight. Gas-powered cars, for example, won’t vanish anytime soon- but shifting all cars and freight trucks towards hybrid models may be coming soon.

But if we want real solutions to rising costs, we need to focus elsewhere. Instead of clinging to outdated projects like Keystone, we should prioritize cheaper shipping channels for goods and supplement local farmers who are the backbone of our food supply. Water conservation and water diversion is also critical. Drinking water is becoming scarce, and flooding is an increasing risk. We should be using greywater to irrigate farms, gardens, and trees, and focus on sustainable practices to preserve this essential resource that is also getting more expensive annually.

We should also rethink our food production and packaging systems. Packaged food—laden with unnecessary paper, plastic, aluminum, glass—contributes significantly to greenhouse gasses. If we cut down on excess packaging, not only could we lower food prices, but we’d also reduce the environmental impact. Companies such as Kraft, General Mills, Hormel, Lays, and Tyson could make a real difference here. Think about all the excess packaging and space we have in our food bags and boxes that is all dead air…it's called shrinkflation - same sized packaging with less food and higher prices with the same environmental impact. Taking the bread example, you now get a unnoticeable smaller loaf of bread (maybe 2-3 slices less, or each piece of bread is sliced thinner so the loaf is smaller but you still get the same number of slices), for the same cost and same packaging. Therefore you're consuming the bread quicker, buying bread more often, and spending more on bread each month. These packaged products are not biodegradable, can't be burned for fuel, nor compostable. Maybe we need to start mandatory cooking and nutrition classes in school so kids learn how to cut out the chips and cut a cucumber for a snack instead (Jenner Kardashian humor needed). Changes start with our kids.

These are grassroots changes that we can all support to build a more sustainable future. Trump, on the other hand, has consistently demonstrated a lack of understanding when it comes to leading suistainable change initiatives as he himself is a fast food enthusiast and drips in gluttonous behaviors. His talk about Keystone and "cheap energy" shows how out of touch he is with the realities on the ground. Instead, we need to focus on the bigger policies for : sustainable energy, affordable food, water conservation, green alternatives, and sustainable trash.

Believe a Texan who knows the oil industry—Trump is wrong on this one. I don't have all the answers but science and logic are keys to understanding how we can help reverse the damage our previous generations *like him* allowed for so long. So folks go plant a tree and some vegetables in your garden if you can. Also please don't come at me 😅, I can't solve every problems but just trying my best in my capacity every day and I hope you will too.

I remember in the 1980s and 90s when people I knew from the UK would fly to the USA with empty suitcases to buy clothes and other goods as it was so cheap. Unfortunately each time I have gone back to the US roughly once a decade the prices are getting higher and higher. Becoming too expensive to visit.
