New comet visible through the telescope. C/2020 R4 ( ATLAS) is currently a magnitude of 9 and visible now in the very early morning at 5 AM in the Eastern sky. It is expected to get bright up to Magnitude 6. It is visible in the Northern Hemisphere. The closest distance it can get to earth is 0.46 AU. The Comet has a Coma size of 44000 KM, double the size of Earth. The Comet core is approximately 10 KM .

Thanks Ray. You really love the comets. Question. How did you set the EQ mount & software to track C2020 R4 properly. I am new to this hobby. Any tips would greatly reduce my frustrations🤓

Nice catch. Being grown up has its mental limitations, my child watched this with me and asked ' if it's supposed to be a rock flying through space, why is it glowing green?' lol, I answered with 'exactly'. Love your work Ray

Ray there is a fainter point that is moved during the timelapse of that comet, please check which is very near to it, check it in 1080p quality
