The second reliable method to reduce CYA is by reverse osmosis. If you are under a water use restriction or conservation minded you can hire RO service. They will send by a truck that filters the water and only needs about a 10% water wastage.

The most important step is actually determine WHY you cya level became too high in the firs place. Otherwise you will need to drain and dilute every few months. The culprit is almost always overuse of stabilized tablets. When your cya hits 50ppm it’s time to switch to liquid chlorine or cal hypo

I put in my information and the calculator didn't give me how much to drain, it just had 0L as the amount. It was easy to use, but gave now results.

Does cya sink or float? If it sinks i can drain from the bottom. If it floats i'll drain from the skimmer
