Great video on M1 Finance! Yeah I really like to use M1 for the reason you mention of being able to buy higher price stocks like Amazon. That's the strategy that I've implemented on M1 with both Amazon and Google! Great video!!

There must be costs somewhere, M1 Finance are not a charity

M1 sadly changed a lot so now it's harder to snowball with small fractional shares. No longer auto-invests at every 10$ threshold but instead 25$. On top of that, it will not buy anything under 1$. So if you put in 25$ minimum and your percentages are so small taht the purchases are under 1$ it will not purchase ANY of those, unless you manually go through each one. Sort of defeats the purpose of why I started it. Very disappointed.
