I've had a K70 RGB since Christmas 2015 and it's great. Reactive typing, rainbow waves, and intricate community profiles all are able to work with the current version of CUE. Your keyboard may need a firmware update but it works flawlessly for me personally.

I'm just going to say that this video was made 2 years ago and the CUE has been much improved. I own a corsair K70 RGB and it comes preset with things like reactive typing and rainbow waves and spirals. So don't be put off by any of what he says about it

If there was a several hour long documentary on the history of PC components hosted by Linus I would absolutely watch it

A friend sent me this video a decade ago, and I was so interested in the keyboard that I ended up watching other videos from this channel. 10 years later... for some reason, I'm still watching

Corsair for keyboards, Logitech for mice

I have a Corsair K70 and I absolutely love it. Great for gaming, keys are extremely sensitive and responsive, while providing crisp and reliable feedback on each press. The software provided has gotten better, but still is cumbersome at times. I definitely recommend this keyboard for gamers and computer enthusiasts alike. I have not had any problems with LED's dying or with keys losing their responsiveness.

Biggest Pro: Responsiveness
Biggest Con: Cumbersome and complicated software interface

Can you comment on the many problems that Corsair keyboards always have, I have multiple friends who have had loads of LEDs die (possibly fixed in this model) and the key sticking issue that all Corsair keyboards have, maybe have someone at Lunis Media Group game on it for a month or so and see how it goes

2025 and I'm still using this keyboard that I bought around 2014/15. It's moved with me to 11 houses in 3 different country and it still looks new. The soft rubber palm mount has since been thrown away due to turning into something sticker than a fly trap but as long as this keyboard keep going I will not be replacing it anytime soon

Be jelly, I pre-ordered the keyboard as soon as I could and I got one with the old logo :) AMAZING

the lighting is awesome - it'll be a year before other keyboard companies can use Cherry MX switches with this RGB lighting, in my opinion it's probably worth waiting until companies that produce 'better' keyboards get hold of this.

you could put some Vortex PBT backlighting-compatible keycaps on this but it'd still have the lame logo, annoying buttons at the top right of the case, and a non-detachable wrist-rest

I am DEFINATELY 100% with you Linus when you got that OMG expression on your face about the size of that manual. You defined a speachless version of the OMG thing, congrats!
