Massive explosion near Toropets, Russia (past Moscow-deep strike) ammunition dump

It wasn't a battery overheating function it was intercepted devices headed for Lebanon that had explosives installed. You can overheat a battery but it will burn up, not explode like this.

EDIT: I will explain this further. I'm a mechanical and electrical engineer. Even if you could short circuit a battery that size, it would immediately heat up, pop the housing and you'd get a burning flare in a few seconds. This sort of instantaneous combustion is clearly from an explosive material and the housing becomes the shrapnel. Just like a pipe bomb.

If you own a Tesla, I'd rethink that now 💥

And just like that everyone stopped talking about the latest assassination attempt.

Thank you CP! No one I know seems to know or care about the topics that you bring up in these videos. You seem to have a genuine care for what goes on in our world and it speaks volumes. You are a role model for what it means to be a true leader. Thanks again.

A lot of people are going to think twice about brain chips, phones, electric cars and any aircraft with these batteries.. It’s truly terrifying that someone can be targeted in an intentional malfunction. Orwell right again.

The phones blowing up definitely wasn't a spot on the bingo card. Wouldn't have ever guessed it. Being serious, not sarcastic

I saw so many people on social media yesterday celebrating this attack & not one of them was thinking about the implications of it in regards to the fact that every last one of us carries & uses a cellphone & it has now become a cyberbomb that could be set off remotely any time, any place. The thought of it is absolutely terrifying.

The explosions in those pagers were most likely caused by explosive material. All electronic devices can overheat and some may even give a bit of an appearance of an explosion but the Lebanese incident had fairly large explosions going off.

I follow you almost everyday. I don't think I am a alarmist however there is really nothing wrong with being prepared. I don't know what is going to happen in the world but all the signs worry me. I would much rather people say I am crazy than I was right. Too many times I have heard people say that this will never happen and then it does. Be prepared, worry about your family and hope you're wrong.
The future is always changing .
The future is never what you expect.
Be prepared.

The world at the moment is like a thriller film with 6 different storylines from war to assassination attempts to exploding pagers to Florida governor saying no to the fbi & doj. Everyday someing new happens on at least one of the stories. Except this isn't a film its real life.

It was NOT a hack, it was sabotage. Words matter. Definitions matter. These were sabotaged with plastic explosives, ergo, it was not a cyber attack.

The government who did this did not care who were injured. This should be an example of what can be done to your technology with ease so be careful.

Amazon movie with John Cena - “Jackpot” came out about a month ago. Cena’s character calls in a phone strike (forgot what he called it in the moxie) - all the cell phones exploded/caught fire. Hmm…odd thing to write into a movie and perfect timing 🤔

This situation with the Hezbollah pagers is absolutely terrifying. The fact that a cyberattack could cause such a massive explosion and so many casualties is a grim reminder of the new face of warfare.

How many times over the last months did Israel make statements to the effect, that if their enemies persisted their attacks, Israel would use new weapon systems never seen before?

Warfare is brutal. Their plan was genius. Caught their enemies totally off guard, and now their future communications will be challenging, to say the least…

A more explainable explanation would be that the pagers were intercepted, explosives were placed in them, code for a time bomb attack, which in the context of cybersecurity is a type of malicious code embedded in software that activates at a predetermined date and/or time. Unlike other malware that requires specific actions or conditions to trigger, a time bomb relies solely on the passage of time to execute its payload. Even if the pagers are off, the internal clock is still running and will execute the code and trigger the explosion.
