Weekend of flooding leaves many Las Vegas residents picking up pieces

A weekend of severe flooding left many residents at an east Las Vegas valley apartment complex picking up the pieces.

The apartment owners need to pay for the renters' loss and inconveniences as well. Further, they need to fix these units and bring them up to living standard, which means simple rain like this should not flood the floor or sink the roof.

I live on the west side of town and our apartment complex requires us have Renters insurance just in case something happens like this.

But they charge up the ass in rent fully knowing their old apartments where the fk is the governor saying we need to drop rents on these old buildings? Everyone getting cheated on rents! There’s your luxury home folks…..

Has anyone checked on the people who live in the underground drainage tunnels in Las Vegas?

The city shook down the large christian revival over and over a day or two before this happened. They threatened to shut them down many times while the revival was going on. At one of the shake downs they demanded $70, 000 or they would shut them down. This was after they had all the permits and paperwork too from the officials to be there. They asked them what they would get for their $70k and the officials said they would get to stay. They they came back over and over and harassed them again and again. The next day, the city was flooded by an act of God!

I’m praying for you all. Al Gote was saying that this kind of stuff was going to happen back in 2000 but we got George W and then we wasted lives and money on the wrong things. When are we going to wake up?

I lived there for 40 years and flooding is not knew to them.
I remember when cars in the Caesar Palace parking lot got flooded and cars were destroyed because of the flooding.
The ground is hard and water flows like a river there. It takes the path of least resistance.

That's why I have rent those insurance. And if anything like that happened to where I live. I have my insurance covers up to 10000 dollarson. Notel a hotel stay, no, people don't think about something like that🎉😂❤

My sister talks alot of trash about her bfs family. Now that the floodings happened her house lost energy . She refused to spend the night there so she asked her bfs sister to let her and her 2 kids stay there for the night . So no i dont feel bad for all of these people, theres alot of snakes out there . Yall better wake up .
